Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is a combination of two game genres: adventure and action. Sometimes it also contains a few puzzles that players need to find the solutions in order to unlock the next stages. The areas in the game are divided into many small rooms, connected by paths, or hidden doors. Players will search for them while fighting against hordes of aggressive monsters trying to attack and kill the character.
