You take on the role of a young trainer who has recently relocated to Pallet Town in this game. You got back to town rather quickly due to a message that Professor Oak sent to you. When you arrived in Pallet Town, Gary was already there waiting for you. After engaging in combat with one another, you both made your way to Professor Oak’s laboratory, where you were each given a new assignment: travel to the Zotoxu region, where your uncle Nacho has been waiting for you. Immediately following that, you were given the Zotoxu Ticket for the SS Zotoxu. Your journey can now be considered to have started from this point on!
